Republicans, Democracy, Constitutions, Reality

Since the "liberal" media have essentially given up reporting on actual issues, I guess it's up to Jon Stewart to point out the obvious. While claiming President Obama hates America, teabaggRs are doing everything they can to destroy its most basic foundation.

What despicable people they are. Still proud to be a Republican, you-know-who in New Jersey?

didn't leave the party, the party left me...
In fact, I remember as a Wee-Lad, watching DemoKKKrat Senator Robert KKK Bird, filibuster the Civil Rights Bill for 24 straight hours, reading from the Wheeling WVA phone book, OMG, the coded language, the Hatred, the barely veiled sexual allusions, "THATS ENOUGH!" I shouted at the Philco, I'm turning Repubic-Klan!...
umm OK, I didn't speak until age 6, like Einstein, and thats where the similarities between me and Einstein end, but I was thinking it..

  2. You're right, Frank: Democrats have progressed, Republicans have regressed, and I appreciate your pointing it out.

  3. From Wikipedia:
In 1997, Byrd told an interviewer he would encourage young people to become involved in politics but also: "Be sure you avoid the Ku Klux Klan. Don't get that albatross around your neck. Once you've made that mistake, you inhibit your operations in the political arena."[20] In his last autobiography, Byrd explained that he was a KKK member because he "was sorely afflicted with tunnel vision—a jejune and immature outlook—seeing only what I wanted to see because I thought the Klan could provide an outlet for my talents and ambitions."[21] Byrd also said, in 2005, "I know now I was wrong. Intolerance had no place in America. I apologized a thousand times ... and I don't mind apologizing over and over again. I can't erase what happened."[9]
I used to be a Republican. I didn't leave them, the party left me.....
