The Great Alternative Speaks

Admittedly I haven't taken the days required to work through the entire list, but this might be the stupidest thing Ted Cruz has said yet:
Texas Senator Ted Cruz called for law enforcement in the U.S. to clamp down on Muslim neighborhoods in an effort to stop them from becoming “radicalized” after the terror attacks in Brussels....
... “Our European allies are now seeing what comes of a toxic mix of migrants who have been infiltrated by terrorists and isolated, radical Muslim neighborhoods.” ...
Cruz then made his proposal to single out Muslim neighborhoods in the U.S. for special — and likely unconstitutional — attention.“We need to empower law enforcement to patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods before they become radicalized,” he wrote. ... He added, “The days of the United States voluntarily surrendering to the enemy to show how progressive and enlightened we are at [sic] an end.”

Because what prevents radicalization better than having police swarm your neighborhood? And what would encourage cooperation from non-radicalized Muslims more than being stopped and frisked every couple of days?

  1. Yunno...I didn't even finish the piece. I got through the first Ted stupid and thought this...

"I wish the same people actually fighting Americas battles could punch Ted in the face. Trump foreign policy. I'd love to just punch him in the face "gettem outta here!" *punch and kick Ted all the way out of wherever he said that stupid shit.* "gettem outta here!"

Here's my problem...Ted thinks he's an expert. Trump...all of them on the Red team. They are all experts and sing the same tune as they say their opponent doesn't know anything. Think about that a sec...

The Tpubs whine about "liberals" making horrible treaties. "Endanger America with inaction.""leading from behind""embolden our enemies""true commander in chief is needed"...on on on on and onnnnn....

We've all heard it en mass from the Tpubs and their wealthy donors.

OK...I am here to plainly say...The Tpubs are inciting violence. Promoting war. Making all my brothers and sisters in the military's job tougher. The more the enemy has American politician locker room material. The more Marines they want to kill. The more babies they want to kill. The more books they want to burn. Which makes us want to kill more of them. Creating a vicious circle.

I am thinking a punch in the face is not much in the face of war.

I say this, if these POTUS wannabees wanna run their mouths. They should have to walk the walk. If they tell other people to be violent. Then they should have to stay till the last mans/woman/baby is standing.

Meanwhile...Somewhere in a sandbox far far away our best and brightest are dying. 22 combat veterans a day commit suicide at home. Many more veterans of WW2,Korea,Nam etc. are dying alone w/o anyone by their side.

Yet these mealy mouthed politicians and billionaires have the nuts to say what they do because nobody will charge them with murder, heck, nobody is gonna punch them in the mouth either. Nope, they get elected, that's what they get. A fat paycheck from the tax payers.

I have yet to find one person serving that likes Trump or Ted or any Tpub. That's an expert opinion I'll have confidence in. A Tpub isn't fit for office. Not a single one. They polluted their entire party.

  2. Doyle McManus wrote a column about how Ted Cruz is scary but Trump is dangerous.
Um. What if they're both dangerous. Cruz to me is every bit as dangerous maybe even more than Trump. Cruz has a appoctaliptical religious certainty of his righteousness. I have no doubt that he'd be able to find a legal justification for torture and murder even quicker than the Bush and Cheney cabal.

  3. Oh, Ted, what a great idea. But given the potential importance and unknown consequences of such an effort, shouldn't we run a trial program? Sort of a neutral control for comparison purposes? Saaayy, how about added police presence in the Miami area, rousting and roughing up Cubans and Cuban-Americans for few months? They have a healthy criminal element that presents a risk. And who better to evaluate the outcome of that than you, your Highness?!?
