ReplyDeleteI like how the news and especially the late night comedians abrupt shift to focus on the current political climate. The late shows are on to entertain as a main function. The hosts actually have consciousness and control of the shows content. Drumpf does not like comedians.
Propaganda? Nobody does it better than SNL, right? Pile on Colbert and Myers...John Oliver and Sam Bee. It's all either Jon Stewart spawn or SNL on the air. They can't counter 24 hour a day quantity. But they can make up for it in quality. Comedians are some of the smartest people on the planet. The difference between a scientist and SNL is SNL can take your soul. Ever seen a comedy roast? If you like your brand, don't let SNL get ahold of it. I mean, it's Drumpf for a reason. That reason is John Oliver.

Yeah, I don't know. I get emails from Trumpets that suggest there's nothing he could do that would bother him. I'm starting to think that Trump is what America has become. Will the pushback be enough? People ever toss out deplorables like McConnell and Ryan, not to mention Chaffetz, et al?

ReplyDeleteThey could kick in doors and haul people off. As long as it's 'the kind of people' they want the cops to haul off, it's not only fine, it's a vote for reelection! These people want to be told what to think, what to do and most importantly, HOW to think. FOX 'news' teaches you how to see and think about everything. Just like Sesame Street.
That's why I always double back to the voters. It takes millions of people to agree to get Drumpf into the White House.
Perhaps a medical analogy might suggest some hope, Sid. Right now the immune system doesn't seem to recognize the deadly threat, although there is some evidence that it's just beginning to work very hard as it tries to find the right antibodies. Unfortunately, we just have to give it time...
