If You Can't Persuade Them, Threaten Them

Well, of course he was kidding. I mean, after all, it's not like his entire career was one of bullying, suing, threatening, and lying.

President Trump went to Capitol Hill on Tuesday morning to sell the House GOP leadership’s plan to overhaul the health-care system ...
... “I’m gonna come after you, but I know I won’t have to, because I know you’ll vote ‘yes,’ ” Trump said, according to several Republican lawmakers who attended the meeting. “Honestly, a loss is not acceptable, folks.”...
... Meadows added that he didn’t take Trump’s comments too seriously: “I didn’t take anything he said as threatening anybody’s political future.”
“Oh, he was kidding around,” said Rep. Harold Rogers (R-Ky.), a supporter of the bill. “I think.”
It seems, though, having always relied on threats and bullying, his powers of persuasion are a little rusty:
“I’m still a ‘no,’ ” he [Meadows] said. “I’ve had no indication that any of my Freedom Caucus colleagues have switched their votes.”
Deals. He'll make great deals. Winning. We'll get tired of winning.

  1. I am very tired of winning.

Are you tired of being stressed out over developments in this country? If so, you may be suffering from TIAD (Trump-induced Anxiety Disorder). Help may soon be available --> there's a pill for that. Here's the commercial:

  2. 'Do it pretty soon before you lose your health insurance.'

    That's hilarious...

  3. This may be what many here are needing in order to calm down.

The sun rises regardless of politics and nothing is worth the anxiety of hate.

  4. Well, other than the threats to our democracy we are seeing, and to the environment, and to people in need, kumbaya.

  5. Can't be about shooting; look at his right elbow clamped to his chest. Was he going Pew, Pew, Pew? Any Army instructor would have kicked him right off the rifle range if he tried that pose, if he had ever been in the army, which he wasn't because he was defending the country by grabbing "P***Y"!

So he's odiously demonstrating his celebrity way to grab "P***Y", because "They'll let you do anything if you're a celebrity right?" And it isn't just women he grabs like that, he's doing it to the whole country now (Because he's a celebrity, Right?).

And his smirking locker room buddies in Congress, and soon the SCOTUS, are just loving it. So too his raggedy assed Deplorables; listen to them roar their worshipful, spit flecked approval at the rallies, drowning out the sound of the chains being forged for them, link by link.

No Safety net, No Regulation, No Environment, No Women's Rights, No Justice, No Healthcare, No education, No trade, No Allies: NO NO NO NO: Not Yours.

    "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall":

Just "Imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever." Yes...that about covers it!

Miss the old format Sid, the scalpel, ready to cut through the crap, was very illustrative of you.

  6. Yeah, it was semi-unintentional, Eugene. Tried a new format figuring I could preview it first, but the old one went away and I couldn't find my way back. I might try again, because I liked the scalpel, too.

  7. Yo. Dr. Strange! Thanks for the Impeachara scrip... I was losing count of the tick tocks, now we're on course waiting for a vote. More importantly, waiting for John Oliver this Sunday. And of course Sids next prescriptive column.

  8. You're welcome, Cory.

Today's an important day. The first chapter is being written for Trump's next book: "The Art of the Fail".
