His Lips Are Moving: Mitt's Lying

I believe I may have mentioned (about a thousand times) the fact that Mitt Romney lies the way other people breathe. The only way his lies will end is if his supporters demand it; if they expect him to treat them like adults; if they let him know they'd like an election about ideas.

In other words, it never will.

  2. its Deedle-Dumb vs Deedle-Dumber...
and sorry, but I can't let this Surpreme-Court-Judges-Appointed-For-Life thing go.
Thats what we Ass-Burgerians do, find an obscure arcane subject, and alienate everyone we meet with it.
Just yesterday I was talkin to my Pool Guy, Leon, and he was goin on about the pH, coliforms, bla bla bla.
And I interupted, "Don't tell an MD about Coliforms, I said"
"DO YOU KNOW SURPREME COURT JUDGES ARE APPOINTED FOR LIFE??!!!"
"MY GOD MAN, IF JOHN ROBERTS JUST LIVES TO THE AVERAGE LIFE EXPECTANCY HE'LL BE ON THE COURT UNTIL 2050!!!"
The funny thang is, Leon DID know, I guess its on the Citizenship Test or something.

  3. If "O" took a dump on your living room floor, would you blog about how he has a soft serve ice cream machine in his rectum too?

They're all liars! Haven't you figured this out yet? Geeeezzzzz, Sid. The magnitude of your confirmation bias is impressive.

  4. You may have noticed, where you leave comments, the request for some sort of identifier, so I don't have to guess which anonymous is which.

You get a break once, so I can respond to the stupid: there's a huge difference between broken promises -- especially when most are due to R obstructionism -- and out and out lies.

I've always acknowledged that all politicians are liars and assholes. But there's never been a person like Mitt, who simply lies about everything. He even says something and then within a day or so, denies he ever said it. It's beyond what politicians do: it's deeply pathological.

Also, I'd appreciate, based on what I've written here, an example of how your "take a dump" analogy makes any fucking sense at all.

And I think you need to check the meaning of confirmation bias.

  5. Clicking through on the "More" links of the Politifact Obameter posts, revels that many of them require cooperation from the Congress. This has not been forthcoming even on matters that used to be routine.

  6. That was the "R obstructionism" to which I referred in my comment.
