ReplyDeleteKaren: fair question. I really don't care what these guys do in their private lives. It's only when they make a career out of "family values," "sanctity of marriage," and general public holiness that I think they deserve a kick in the ass for their hypocrisy.
ReplyDeleteIf you are basing your politics on "family values". Proclaim that marriage is "one man one woman", then deal with it when the shit hits the fan because you couldn't stick with the ONE part.

Yeah, but the issue in this case is all these guys like to tell others what they can and can't do behind closed doors. Newt was very righteous about Clinton, while he was doing worse. It's the hypocrisy of every one of these pious legislators, who want to "defend marriage." Laughable, if it weren't so damaging to other people.
