Appeasement
Well, of course the RWS™ are pointing to the closing of US embassies because of terrorist threats as proof of Obama's weakness, of his policy of appeasement. This, despite the drone program, the NSA, and all the other -- what some might call -- evidence of the opposite.
On the other side, some lefties are seeing it as a bit too convenient timing, designed to imply the necessity of said NSA spying. For that one, at least, there's no compelling evidence of its falsity. The weakness stuff? The mind softly blows, and the guitar gently weeps.
