The Koch brothers' search for a suitably pliable and clueless candidate had a little setback with the demise of bought-and-paid-for Scott Walker's candidacy. In a case of perfect timing, however, Carly Fiorina rose to the surface on the bubbles of her willingness to lie through her teeth and/or to show her credulity, to say what she thinks they'd like to hear, on such matters as Planned Parenthood, torture, and military spending, among so many others. Tax cuts for the wealthy, of course, go without saying. Perfect, in other words, for would-be puppet masters:

Fiorina's show-stealing performance in a Republican presidential debate last month, and her subsequent surge in the polls, has prompted industrialists Charles and David Koch to take a "serious look" at the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive, according to three sources close to the brothers...How blatant does it have to get before people take notice? When will so-called "conservatives" wake up and smell the cacophony?

Fiorina will be candy for the screamers while Jeb becomes the institutional safe GOP candidate.

It's a done deal. Just trying to figure out which left of the isle candidate is going to crush the poor Tpubs running in the general at this point.
ReplyDeleteThe election cycle map happens to favor Dems. this time around. 2010 was the T-Billies favorable map. The USA is grotesquely gerrymandered now because 2010 was a census year. 2020 is coming and the Dems. will get to fix voting rights. There are court cases fighting the recent changes to voters rights laws as unconstitutional as we speak.
The Tpubs are afraid of the democratic process. They can't win w/o cheating and they all know it and are mostly in denial...Once again, the Tpubs eat their young all the way past the finish line to the next finish line every election there after. Carly will flame out. Every Tpub candidate will lose. Trump points to his polls...Yet doesn't talk much about the fact you can't avoid,in those same exact polls, and pollsters, Trump glorifies, Hillary crushes him in the general period end of story. If you believe in Trumps polls. Apples to apples. Bernie's rally's are the largest by far, so Trump can't out draw Bernie either. Bernie crushes Trump as well. Apples to apples.
As usual, it will be hard to watch. I remember the last general and if not for Obama I'd have not been happy. Hillary just isn't my first choice. She'd be an awesome POTUS IMO. But it's time for another visionary and that guy is Bernie Sanders.
I still stick to my Bernie/Warren ticket. Bernie/Hillary is a contender, but Elizabeth Warren makes total sense.
