Isn't this at least SOME of what Barny is lamenting here? BECAUSE? Really? Might not a better word here have been "AND" rather than "BECAUSE?"
Guess you got me there. Or I could have spelled out the implicit part: "I think what he says..." But, yeah, "and" would have saved a few words. That's what happens when your editor is busy. Oh, right. I don't have an editor.
