I'm so sorry--I hope they get this fixed fast but well.
ReplyDeleteThat bridge was high enough, although from what I've read that meant in the center only, that they didn't have any pesky Federal regulations applying saying it had to be posted what the maximum height allowable there was. I imagine that idea might get a rethink--I certainly hope so.
This happened within a day of the collapse of a parking structure at the mall local to where I grew up--where, after our Loma Prieta earthquake, I never wanted to park in again when visiting back home, the thing just didn't seem to have enough support columns. Guess what. It didn't. (Montgomery Mall, Bethesda, MD.)
