Remember that secret, amazing, foolproof, beautiful plan to defeat ISIS? The one Donald J. Trump has been promising to reveal and enact once he takes office, the one he doesn't want known before that because someone might steal it? Remember how he's assured us he knows more about ISIS than "the generals?"
Yeah, well, turns out his secret plan is to ask for a plan. From "the generals." Smart. Because I guess no one has thought of asking for that yet. Because I guess until Donald Trump, they didn't even know what planning means.

Then, in a June 2015 meeting with the Des Moines Register editorial board, he offered a different reason for keeping the plan under wraps — that his opponents would steal it. "The problem with politics is if I tell you right now, everyone else is going to say, 'Wow, what a great idea.' ... But no, I have an absolute way of defeating ISIS."...
I believed him, didn't you? So this is a little disappointing, fabulous foolproof-wise:

These are the generals, mind you, who Trump has said don't understand ISIS like he does. "I know more about ISIS than the generals do," he said in a rambling Iowa speech in November. "Believe me."...

As a Marine, my job isn't to kill anyone or march here or there. My only job is carry out the mission given by the commander in chief. Trump says he wants "raising the number of Marine battalions from 24 to 36."
OK...First of all. Good luck on filling the ranks with 8 more USMC battalions. The "extreme vetting" of gays, "moose limbs", Atheists, women with wieners etc. will make it nearly impossible to have 8 more USMC battalions combat ready. Oh...and no women in combat roles. We need "Devil Dogs" not "Devils food cake". Good luck on the 8 more battalions.
So why Marines? Because you don't need a declaration of war to send a Marine into places the Czar...I mean POTUS orders them to go. Simply having Marines offshore during Dessert Storm, caused "Saddam Insane" to move his finest warriors, the Republican Guard" in defense of the beach. Beach landings are the toughest job in the military. US Marine specialise in taking beaches. The world is very aware of all that.
100 hours later the 4th largest army in the world was smashed. You can't print Marines as fast as you can print money. So now we have a privatised military. A for profit military. Mercenaries. Trump wants NATO to pay more for the USA protections. IE: Europe...Middle East
It's OK America. The Marines are on duty and they don't follow stupid orders. We can't as Marines do anything unprofessional. No breaking the Geneva convention/rules of war. IE: pillage and plunder oil. Torture is a no-no. We don't need to do all that. The mere fact that all those Marines were offshore. The Iraq version of US Marines had to defend the beach and not the dessert. The Army out flanked them and trapped them. Check and Mate.
I've seen N. Korea. It's no joke. They tested a nuke yesterday. It's not funny anymore.

Good comments, both of 'em, Smoove. I hope it's true that seeing him in all his stupidity will convince the so-called "undecideds." But those who are already for him have been seeing it for months and it's only made them love him all the more. And as that CIC forum showed, he just bulls and bullshits his way through answers and the "moderator" can't (or won't) do a thing about it. And if they did, it wouldn't matter. He'd still just plow on through, lying and ignoring. At some point, they give up and move on, and the Trumpists think he won.
