De-Fense, De-Fense

Fear not, though:

The U.S. continues to spend the most in absolute dollars, accounting for 60 percent of the world's total defense spending.

But you know what M.C. Hammer said.

And a very large percentage of it is spent to defend against an enemy that went out of business a decade ago. Seems like a good place to start cutting the deficit -- once we get rid of those greedy teachers, cops, firefighters and all the other public employees that keep things running.

  2. You know what my Dad used to say when I'd throw some graphs and pie charts at him to prove some point? like how Ted Nugent totally would have kicked Fat's Domino's ass?

Nuthin! he'd just throw em back at me, along with a balled up fist...

    and its DEE-fence, BTW

ya can't compare a Desert Persian Gulf Monarchy of barely 20 million people with only 1 industry with a nation of 350 million, so diversified that we have pyschologists FOR PETS!!!!!!

total DEE-Fense spending is only $4,000 per Capita, which is umm about 8 pairs of my wifes shoes, 1 month of my daughters private school, or about 400 classic issues of "Best of Penthouse Forum" that you can find on E-bay,
in other words, an effin bargain, for $4,000 you get over a million soldiers/marines/sailors to kill the bad guys, and all we have to do is watch on TV...

Course you could save a few Somalians by closing down Gitmo, you know, like the Muslim-in-Chief promised to do 779 days, 2 hrs and 47 minutes ago, not that anyones keeping track...

  3. I stand corrected on the syllabic emphasis, Frank. (Although I'd say sometimes it's DEE FENCE with no accent.)

BTW, did you know that when fans holler "Air ball, air ball, air ball..." It's always in the same key, no matter the venue? F and D, matter of fact.
