Re-Titled



Judy (my child bride) showed me a perfect quote from George Orwell. I'd like readers to note that it has  now replaced the subtitle of my blog. The man surely foresaw these times, did he not?

  1. I listened to BBC's Witness program about The Hobbit today. They observed that Tolkein, like Orwell and a long list of others, spent a chunk of their younger years getting shot at, and that experience seemed to sharpen their focus a bit.
