Too Little, Too Late
Besides, the people who don't remember (and, god, there are so many of them...) will not be moved by being reminded.
To have forgotten so soon after the fall, you really have to work at it. It's not forgetting (or so one would think, in a rational world -- because, how could you?) so much as it's ignoring. And if you ignore such obvious truth, the fact is you don't care. The fact is your prejudices and beliefs and fears and selfishness trump everything else. The fact is, you're a teabagger.
