It is no coincidence that the private sector is taking off while the government stimulus is winding down. ... which suggests that the pressure valve has been opened, and the years of pent-up activity that were suppressed by uncertainty over Obama’s policies is finally being released. Thank God for gridlock.

Sid, in case you haven't seen this. A study was done on women's outcomes in ectopic pregnancies in Catholic vs non-Catholic hospitals. I don't have to tell you ectopics are non-viable and a risk to the mother's life. And yet...

The answer is clear: Catholic hospitals that receive public moneys must conform to good medical practices. And as for the earlier contraception coverage debate, in California by law that was all made law, challenged, and settled some time ago. And you never heard about it because it was simply the right thing to do.
