We Have Our Answer

The other day I asked a "quick question." It's not as if I didn't know the answer.

Well, that's how they think, folks: if it's good, we get the credit; if it's bad, they get the blame. It were ever thus. At least since Bush took office.

  2. Housekeeping note: egomosperfico left a comment which he cancelled, but the traces were there, which I eliminated before he put up the one above. Since his [take two...] could be puzzling to those who didn't know that (ie, everyone), I write to explain, lest his usual wit and intelligence be called into question.

  4. That bugs me, too. You can preview comments and fix 'em before posting, but you can't go back. I've trashed several of mine to re-write them; in my case, as the editor/publisher/regent hereof, I can eliminate all traces of my mis-fires.

  5. Danke, Komrad General, now if you can airbrush him out of his thumbnail to remove all evidence of his existence...Jeez Sid, you must have felt right at home in Commie-land...

  6. Frank, have you ever understood a thing I said? Have you ever made a relevant comment? I was talking about the fact that on "blogger" a commenter can't edit his/her comment after posting it. And that when I've made a mistake I've had to trash the whole comment (MY comment) and re-post.

Check the hoses for leaks, Frankie. I'm worried about you.
